This page explains what data we collect when you use Buoylog and how we process it.
Data We Collect

- — Payment and billing details (processed by Paddle, never reach us)
Third-Party Services
We use the following services to process your data:
- — Clerk — authentication

- — Anthropic (Claude API) — turning PR titles/descriptions into release notes
- — Resend — email notifications
- — Paddle — payment processing and billing
- — Inngest — background job queue
- — Plausible — privacy-friendly, cookieless page analytics
- — Sentry — error monitoring, including sampled session replay to help us reproduce bugs
- — Google — measuring which ads bring people to Buoylog (Google Ads conversion tracking)
Data Retention
We retain your data for as long as your account is active. If you ask us to delete your account, all associated projects, releases, and subscriber data are permanently deleted.
Your Rights
To access, correct, or delete your data, contact us at buoylogsocial@outlook.com.
Cookies
Essential cookies (managed by Clerk) keep you signed in. On our marketing pages we also load Google Ads conversion tracking, which sets its own cookies to attribute sign-ups to the ad that referred you, and Sentry, which may record a sampled session replay when an error occurs. We do not sell your data or use it for advertising beyond that attribution.
