1. Install the GitHub App. From your dashboard, click "Install Buoylog on GitHub" and pick the repositories you want to track. Buoylog only requests read-level access to pull requests and repository metadata — see Security & permissions for details.
2. Merge a pull request. Nothing changes about how you work — keep merging PRs on GitHub as usual.
3. Review the draft. Buoylog reads the PR title and description, classifies the change into one of six categories, and rewrites it in plain language. The draft entry shows up on your dashboard.
4. Publish. Edit the title, category, or visibility if needed, then hit Publish (or schedule it for later). It goes live on your hosted changelog page and out to email/Slack/Discord subscribers immediately.
