FAQ

What happens if I disconnect the GitHub App?

New PRs stop generating draft entries. Nothing already published on your changelog is affected, and you can reinstall it at any time from your dashboard.

Can I edit AI-generated drafts before they go out?

Yes — every draft entry's title, category, and visibility are editable on your dashboard before you publish.

What happens to my data if I delete my account?

Your projects, releases, subscribers, and integrations are permanently deleted. This doesn't uninstall the Buoylog GitHub App on GitHub's side — remove it separately from your GitHub account's Applications settings if you'd like. Account deletion is blocked while you have an active or past-due subscription; cancel it first from "Manage billing."

Do unpublished or internal-only entries ever leak to the public page, widget, or email?

No. Draft and scheduled releases, and any entry marked Internal only, are excluded from the public changelog page, the embeddable widget, and subscriber emails — the only way to see them is a project's preview link.

Can I move a project between plans?

Yes, from "Manage billing" on your dashboard, which opens a Paddle customer portal where you can upgrade, downgrade, or cancel.
